Ben Carson refers to slaves as 'immigrants'
In remarks to his new staff, HUD Secretary Ben Carson referred to slaves as 'immigrants' and said they came to the U.S. in 'the bottom of slave ships' for better opportunities. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
